Mont-Sainte-Anne is a beautiful, world-renowned resort in Québec where visitors can enjoy a unique European atmosphere without leaving North America. The resort is situated near old Québec City, North America’s only walled city and a UNESCO World Heritage site. With over 56 trails, spectacular mountain panoramas, and an inviting ambience, Mont-Sainte-Anne should not be missed.

Mont-Sainte-Anne boasts the largest range of downhill and cross-country trails east of the Canadian Rockies. Skiers enjoy 173 hectares (423 acres) of skiable terrain with the longest of 56 trails running 5,794 meters (19,008 feet). Mont-Sainte-Anne’s trails are rated 23% beginner, 46% intermediate, 18% difficult, and 13% black double diamond. The resort also offers the highest vertical for night skiing in Canada.

Cross-country skiers enjoy over 223 kilometers (139 miles) of trails around the Mont-Sainte-Anne Cross Country Centre. Snowboarders will find adventure at this resort, a regular site for the Snowboard World Cup tour. Mont-Sainte-Anne’s snowpark provides 26,250 square meters (282,500 square feet) of terrain as well as a half-pipe. Other winter activities include snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice skating, and snowmobiling.

Mont-Sainte-Anne’s excellent child-care center, winner of a Snow Country Magazine ski area design award, takes care of children as young as six months old. Ski lessons are offered for individuals and groups seven days a week.

Because Mont-Sainte-Anne is located only 30 minutes from Québec City, day-trips to the historic city give travelers the opportunity to explore the area’s French culture. The city lies on the banks of the St. Lawrence River and winter views from the front of the ice floes are magnificent. When it’s too cold outside visitors warm up in Québec City’s museums, historic homes, and art galleries.
